(1) "intelliChair: Assistive Technology for Powered Wheelchair Users", that won the First prize at the Humanitarian Initiatives Workshop of CCECE 2014 and Second Prize at the 2014 IHTC Conference in Montreal

(2) "Collaborative Robots for Rescue Missions in Underground Mines" that won the second prize at the Humanitarian Initiatives Committee Workshop of CCECE 2013

(3) 'Energy Harvesting Shoe Pad Design' won the President's Prize at the open house design competition, 2013

(4) ‘Wireless Manager for Plug-in Electric Vehicles’ Gold Prize Winner, Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ryerson, 2012

(5) Two of EDP projects 'Aerial Search Unit' and 'Wireless Smart Meter' selected as finalists for the Ontario Center of Excellence (OCE) Discovery Design Competition in 2011

(6) Wireless Tread Mill Control - Won the Bronze Prize in the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society 'MTT Alive 2010 International Video Competition'.

(7) Wireless Smart Info-Pad (SIP) - Featured in Toronto Star and Cable Pulse TV

(8) Our 2001/02 projects won sweeping prizes in Opto-Canada, SPIE conference in Ottawa

(9) Dynamic Simulation Model for Laser Diode - Resulted in a Conference Paper at the Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering.
