Browser issues
The pages in this site conform to recognized public standards (such as HTML4.01 and CSS). This has been verified. Nonetheless, some browser/Operating System combinations render some pages incorrectly (bugs) or in an ugly way (annoyances).
I have used the site with various browsers. The bugs and annoyances I have encountered are described in the following table.
Browser | OS | Bug(s) | Annoyance(s) |
---|---|---|---|
Internet Explorer 6.0.29 | Windows XP Pro (version 2002 Service Pack 2) | None |
Some pages are rendered with the left "menu" overwriting some of the content. (The page "software/local/sim11/DesignAndImplementation.html" exhibits this problem.) |
Mozilla | Solaris |
The "published" information in page headers/footers thinks this is 1970. (This is likely a bug in the javascript interpreter...) |
