Local and external freely-available software used in my courses.
Overview
The software described here has proved useful to me and my students. All of the software is freely-available and most of the products are portable—i.e. they work under most major operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, MacOS and various flavours of Unix.
The software packages are divided into two main groups:
- My software:

Software I developed and maintain. Most of it is used for educational purposes.
- External software:

Software developed by others that can be downloaded on the Internet.
