I am currently a post doctoral fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Ryerson University. I got the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ryerson University in 2009 and the BSc. and MSc. degrees in Electronics and Electrical Communications Engineering from Cairo University in 2000 and 2003 respectively. In 2010, I got certified as a Wireless Communications Professional (WCP) after acquiring the IEEE WCET certification. |
Research Interests
My research interests lie in the broad area of wireless communications and networking. Current research topics include:
- Energy-efficient resource allocation for Green LTE.
- Device-to-Device (D2D) communications in LTE-Advanced.
- Heterogeneous Wireless Networks.
- MAC and routing in the presence of beamforming antennas.
