The Biomedical Engineering research group undertakes research in human-computer interaction, telemedicine, biomedical signal analysis, bioinformatics, medical instrumentation and computer vision.

COMPUTER SYSTEMS RESEARCH GROUP

The Computer Systems Engineering (CSE) research group undertakes research in the area of distributed software systems, MEMS circuits, embedded systems, computer vision, reconfigurable computers, memory architectures, FPGA design, analog and digital integrated circuits, mixed-mode circuits, VLSI circuits for optical and wireless communications, and development of computer-aided design tools for VLSI circuits.

COMMUNICATIONS RESEARCH GROUP

The Communications Research Group undertakes research in the area of communication systems, digital signal processing, mobile and wireless communications, optical communications and computer communications.

POWER AND CONTROL SYSTEMS RESEARCH GROUP

The Power Systems Engineering and Controls undertakes research in the area of electric motor drives, solid state converters, uninterruptible power supplies, power system protection, electronic ballasts, control systems, robotics, artificial intelligence, nonlinear control, system modeling, and pattern recognition.

SIGNAL AND MULTIMEDIA PROCESSING RESEARCH GROUP

The Signal and Multimedia Processing Group undertakes research in the area of communication systems, digital signal processing, mobile and wireless communication systems, telemedicine, multimedia signal processing, computer communications.
