2005 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR UPCOMING ENGINEERS (ICUE)

The University of Windsor IEEE student branch with the co-operation and support from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Windsor, the IEEE Toronto Section, the IEEE Canadian Foundation, and IEEE Ryerson is pleased to organize the fourth International Conference for Upcoming Engineers (ICUE) 2005. The conference will comprise of student paper presentations, tutorials, design project demonstrations, keynote addresses, industrial participation, and social gatherings. Topics include but are not limited to:
1. Electrical power generations, distribution, stability and high voltage engineering
2. System control, machines, nonlinear systems and robotics
3. Software engineering, operating systems and information technology
4. Computer engineering, microprocessor and embedded systems
5. Signal processing for communication, multimedia, and biomedical systems
6. Wired, wireless, optical and high-speed communication systems and networks
7. Electromagnetics, photonics and microwave engineering
8. Circuits, systems, VLSI, instrumentation and sensors
9. Electro-mechanical, industrial and production engineering
10. Cross disciplinary and emerging areas
SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
Papers are to be submitted in PDF format and should follow the submission procedures outlined at http://www.icue.ca. Paper submissions should be complete manuscripts, not exceeding four pages (inclusive of figures, tables, and bibliography) in a standard IEEE two-column format which can be found along with templates at http://www.computer.org/proceedings/cps_forms.htm. The title page should include the name of the author(s), their affiliations and e-mail addresses. Copyright forms are not required at this time and do not need to be submitted. All the submitted papers will be reviewed by the Technical Paper Committee which consists of faculty members from the University of Windsor, Ryerson University as well as other Region 7 Universities and will be judged with respect to their quality, originality, and relevance.
