Ebrahim Bagheri joined Ryerson University as an Assistant Professor in August 2012 while also holding affiliate positions with the University of New Brunswick and Athabasca University. He was previously a Research Staff Member at the National Research Council Canada: Institute for Information Technology in Fredericton, NB (2009-2011) and a Visiting Professor at the University of British Columbia (2011-2012). He received his PhD degree from the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of New Brunswick in Feb 2009. Ebrahim is PI and/or Co-PI on numerous grants from NSERC and AIF with budgets totaling over $3.1M. Ebrahim is a Faculty Fellow of IBM Canada.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Software and knowledge engineering, semantic technologies, web mining, intelligent and adaptive systems, business process modeling.
