Capstone Final Report Submission

DELETE ALL STUDENT NUMBERS FROM YOUR REPORT

IN ORDER TO COMPLY WITH RYERSON'S PRIVACY POLICY, WHICH FORBIDS STUDENT NAMES AND STUDENT NUMBERS APPEARING IN A PUBLIC DOCUMENT, ENSURE THAT ALL STUDENT NUMBERS ARE DELETED FROM YOUR REPORT BEFORE SUBMITTING IT.

SUBMISSION METHOD

Reports will be submitted in PDF format using the same submission program, submit, used to submit your lab assignments.

REPORT FILE-NAMING CONVENTION

The filename of your report should have the following naming convention: three-letter program code (BME_, COE_, ELE_), followed by the words FINAL_EDP_REPORT_, the project code (typically FLC initials and two digits; e.g. BV12; a student-generated topic should use the code you originally selected) and the four-digit year.

For example, the report for Biomedical project "KU01", by Karthi Umapathy submitted in 2019 should be named:

BME_FINAL_EDP_REPORT_KU01_2019.pdf

UPLOADING THE PDF FILE TO YOUR HOME DIR

You can upload the PDF file to your home-directory (see Transferring Files via SFTP) using the SFTP program, then using the submit command via SSH after logging in to pascal.ee.ryerson.ca using the steps outlined below.

PROCEDURE TO SUBMIT YOUR PDF REPORT USING "submit"

You can submit the report from any workstation in ENG labs or logged-in remotely to pascal using the steps outlined below.

  • Copy/upload the PDF file to your home directory
  • Open a Terminal
